Sample from the EPIC (Electric Program Investment Charge) 1-14 Final Report submitted to the California Public Utilities Commission for PG&E  (2016) This is a short excerpt from the conclusion of the report, describing the benefits of utilizing PG&E’s Electric SmartMeter network to support the various smart grid technologies piloted in this project. Sample from Weaving for Beginners, Computer chapter (Lease Sticks Press, 2009). This is the section that I wrote for Peggy Osterkamp’s highly acclaimed weaving book, describing to non-technical users why they would want to use software for weaving, how to choose a program, and where to find out more information.

Sample section from The Internet Tool Kit (Sybex Books, 1995). This is a section from the book’s appendix describing to MS-DOS users how to use basic Unix commands and how to understand Unix file permissions.
